Wedding Documents


The bride & groom and 4 witnesses must arrive to the hotel at least 5 days before the wedding day in order to prepare all the legal documents require for the civil wedding.


The following documentation is required:

* Copy of the bride & groom’s passport (only passport is accepted)
* Tourist card received on arrival day at Cancun International Airport  (please write the full name exactly as it is on the passports)
* If the bride has been married before it is important that the passport reads the maiden last name, otherwise, if it reads the ex-husband last name the original birth certificate will be required.

IMPORTANT:
* The original birth certificate must come with the "Apostille" (that special document with a stamp that gives validity to the birth certificate), it must be officially translated into Spanish and attached must come another Apostille. All these documents must be in the original copy and they will not be given back to you. If either the bride or groom has been married before, the divorce certificate should be dated of more than a year.
* Medical Exams must be done by the hotel’s doctor in Mexico  (the price is about $ 150 USD per person (subject to changes) and has to be paid in cash directly to the doctor)

* A minimum of 4 witnesses are requested with a copy of the passports and tourist cards.
